"curated by 2021 COMEDY": The Gallery Festival in Vienna September
For a whole month, you can look forward to an artful schedule in the federal capital. The 13th edition opens on the first weekend in September. 24 Viennese galleries are hosting. From 4 and 5 September 2021 (and until 02.10.2021), curated by not only invites you to visit the galleries on site but also presents an extensive program online! After the kick-off with the Vienna Contemporary and other projects, Vienna presents itself as an ever-vibrant hotspot and echo of Eastern Europe.
The theme COMEDY in 2021 reflects aspects from literature, history, philosophy, and art. The artists and curators formulate their own understanding here. Although the organisers emphasise that the festival will continue to focus on physical engagement with the exhibited works, this year there will be an extensive range of information on the website.
For the opening weekend, by the way, visitors can look forward to 14 guided tours. These will also take place via live streams.
