Bath Treatments to do at home
1) Soothing milk bath
Benefits: If you struggle with itchy, dry skin, add milk (in liquid or powder form) to your next bath. The proteins, fats, and vitamins A and D found in milk can help restore moisture to the skin. The home remedy can also soften and soothe irritated skin. Our tip: Add a pinch of lemongrass oil to help fight bacteria.
WHAT YOU NEED:
Fill the tub halfway with warm water.
Add 1 to 2 cups of milk (or powdered milk) *Recommended: Whole milk, coconut milk, goat milk, rice milk or soy milk.
Add 2-3 drops of lemongrass oil.
Mix ingredients with your foot.
Soak for 20 minutes.
2) Soothing apple cider vinegar
Benefits: According to Healthline, a study found that apple cider vinegar can be used to treat mild infections caused by common strains of bacteria. For dandruff, apple cider vinegar can help balance the pH of the scalp thanks to its antibacterial and antifungal properties. Our tip: Add Epsom salts to soothe aching joints.
WHAT YOU NEED:
Fill the tub halfway with warm water.
Add 1 to 2 cups of ACV * if using ACV for the first time, start with 1/2 cup.
Add one scoop of Epsom salt.
Mix the ingredients with your foot.
Soak for 20 minutes.
3) Crystal and salt baths
Advantages: Get rid of bad external energy and take a comfortable bath while doing so. Use pink Himalayan salt to clear the aura, detoxify the body, and relieve sore muscles. Place a black tourmaline crystal, a protective stone that blocks negativity, or an amethyst crystal, known for its healing properties, in the center of your tub. Finally, add fresh herbs like rosemary or sage that hold ancient wisdom.
WHAT YOU NEED:
Fill the tub halfway with warm water.
Add a scoop of pink Himalayan salt.
Place the crystal of your choice in the center of the tub.
Add herbs (like rosemary or sage).
Soak for 20 minutes.
