Beauty entrepreneur Dr. Ekaterini Dalampekou-Noel is committed to unveiling a new definition of beauty that knows no age. &nbsp;In a new exclusive interview with <a href="https://lofficiel.at/en" title="Fashion Magazine Austria">L'Officiel Austria</a>, she talks about her journey and her <a href="https://lofficiel.at/en/tags/beauty" title="beauty">beauty</a> tips for flawless skin.

Dr. Ekaterini Dalampekou-Noel, a doctor of human medicine and licensed dentist, founded her own brand dr. noel.The long-time practicing Munich physician with Greek roots has been fascinated by the scientific field of biochemistry and modern epigenetics since her youth.
When Dr. Dalampekou-Noel herself contracted breast cancer a few years ago, time stopped for her and her life changed fundamentally. After the worst was over, she began to look for ways to curb cancer risk factors in her scientific approach. She enthusiastically researched anti-aging theses, trade publications and educational pamphlets on the biological mechanisms of aging, which formed the basis for a unique pro-youthing approach. Today we know that the active ingredient NMN can inhibit the growth of cancer cells, which has been confirmed by studies. Because only a vital, efficient body is able to fight these dangers from within and remain healthy in the long term.
In an exclusive conversation with L'Officiel, Dr. Noel speaks candidly about her journey of change, her new brand, and the importance of what you put on your skin.

Why did you start the skin care brand Dr. Noel? What is your mission?
Dr. Ekaterini Dalampekou-Noel: Due to a previous illness, after the risk phase was over, I started to think and ask myself what factors led to it. You can find out very quickly if you take a closer look at the environment, stress and finally nutrition and care. From personal experience, it was very difficult for me to obtain products that could provide all-round protection and care. After my first contact with aging research a few years ago, the decision was made to start my own brand, dr.noel, which fulfills this holistic approach.
My mission is to see people healthy and happy all around. I believe in today's possibilities of age research and the realization that we are in a phase from which our lives will change fundamentally.

What is your passion for helping people look beautiful?&nbsp;
Dr. Ekaterini Dalampekou-Noel: We all know that nothing can beat inner beauty. My passion is to have people around me who believe in my vision that today one is perfectly capable of staying healthy and fit into old age. And this in turn is reflected in the beautiful appearance.

What are the most important factors you consider when developing a skin care plan for a client?
Dr. Ekaterini Dalampekou-Noel: My first premise is always to choose only the best from nature and the active ingredients that are unsurpassed in purity and quality and also have a proven effect. The development in anti-aging research has contributed to the use of active ingredients that have been proven by studies to stop skin aging and support the skin's protective mechanism. Ingredients of natural origin, no silicones, parabens and Co. and scientifically proven effect.

Do you think it is less when it comes to the products you apply on your skin?
Dr. Ekaterini Dalampekou-Noel: I believe that too much on the skin often brings the opposite than the desired result. For me, a basic cleansing of the facial skin is essential and 1-2x a week an AHA or BHA peeling and then the basic care. For me, only Elysiage, The Serum and Elysiage The Cream comes on the skin.

How do you think your inner health is reflected in your appearance?
Dr. Ekaterini Dalampekou-Noel: Inner health and contentment are a reflection on the skin. Healthy and content people look more relaxed, happier and simply younger than they may be. Their radiance is often contagious.

Why do you think there are more and more skin problems nowadays? Like acne, dryness?
Dr. Ekaterini Dalampekou-Noel: This is directly related to the particulate matter in the air around us, the blue light pollution from smartphones and co. on our skin and not to forget a carbohydrate-heavy diet as well as hormonal imbalances due to psychological and social stress factors.

Does stress play an important role in relation to the well-being of the skin?
Dr. Ekaterini Dalampekou-Noel: Yes, absolutely. Stressed skin looks dull, is prone to redness, and wrinkling is also supported by internal tension. Stressed skin is prone to blemishes, rashes and dry patches.

Which products would you recommend for acne/dryness and why?
Dr. Ekaterini Dalampekou-Noel: Definitely products from the field of natural cosmetics without polluting emollients, silicones and preservatives.
The selection of ingredients must be tuned to activate the protective mechanism of the skin cells, reduce the overproduction of sebum which leads to acne, and the consistency of the formula should plump up the skin from the inside and eliminate dryness. We have achieved this to the maximum extent with our two products.
The Serum contains only natural oil extracts, such as pomegranate oil, thyme oil (has a very soothing effect and reduces redness on the skin), grape seed oil and the super antioxidant astaxanthin, which supports UV-stressed skin and protects against stress reactions. After application, it leaves a pleasant silky feeling on the skin.
