Blue-Blooded Cocktail at Maison Sisley in Vienna's City Centre
When Sisley invites to a cocktail party, the guest list reads like a cross-section of Gotha. Last week, at the invitation of the Sisley owners, the d'Ornano family, not only Nathalie Hohenzollern, Natascha Traun, and Daniela Fürstenberg appeared, but also "Auguste the Sausage Dog" - no ordinary basset hound, but an influencer with pedigree. When the fashion authority Michaela (the aristocratic "von" title legally vanished in Austria in 1919, but we do it here anyway) Strachwitz showed up at the cocktail with the probably most influential dog dressed in Chanel, the dog was turned away - for hygiene reasons. To let it wait outside was out of the question, of course, so the dog and owner went away again with their entourage.
You know it's a truly successful celebration when as few Instagram posts as possible appear about it, because you're delighted with the excellent company and corresponding conversations and don't even want to think about pulling out your cell phone. Or perhaps quite clumsily, the otherwise rather incognito ladies and gentlemen (DJ was Axel Becker) with too much publicity in distress. Because on this evening, tact, taste and timing was considered a special accessory.
The ladies came elegantly dressed for the occasion. That means to a store cocktail in glistening light: gladly flat footwear and flawless complexion. Uniform of the evening: Hermès bags in all sizes, from Micro Kelly to 32 everything was sighted, and the footwear was Gucci Jordaan. Made up came the fewest ladies actually, because one invests in Facials, less in Makeup.
The fashionable Olympus has of course again Silvie Utudjian climbed, quite casually elegant in Chanel with the best blow dry in town. Again in a signature hairband, Donata Krings. As always among the best dressed Claire Hoyos with Vio König and Supernova Natascha Traun. Also in the spotlight: Angelika Rosam and Isabella Klausnitzer.
At the Maison Sisley cocktail was drunk from gilded Augarten bowls, champagne Freeflow - naturellement.
The ladies were delighted, interested and entre nous.
Afterward, one still climbed the stairs to the second floor to explore the treatment cabins. Before the cabins, one rests in the elegantly designed waiting room with a fine art selection from the personal collection of the hosts of the evening, the d'Ornano family.
In front, the view from the panoramic window opens directly onto the terrace of the newly opened Leo Grand. Whereby there is probably a vanishingly small intersection of customer lists between the two houses. A delightful pastime before indulging in an elegant facial, urgently needed for the next Hoyos Wallsee cocktail. Chapeau!
