Anyone who knows the Czech capital Prague knows its magic. Here you can discover which new hotspots you should know and have seen in 2023.

The city on the Vltava River not only has a lot to offer with its nightlife, its beautiful old town is world-renowned and captivating. The breathtaking Gothic, Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture offers an incomparable ensemble. Its most famous landmarks are the Charles Bridge, Prague Castle and St Vitus Cathedral. Where Prague will be fine-dining in 2023

Chef Barbora &Scaron;imůnkov&aacute;'s <a href="https://www.r-leaf.cz/">LEAF</a> is considered one of the hottest fine-dining tips in town. After years of gaining experience abroad, &Scaron;imůnkov&aacute; opened her own restaurant in the - not yet chic - Strasnice district of Prague and is considered an insider tip of the Czech food scene. LEAF is all about refined dishes prepared from few ingredients, mainly vegetables. The wine recommendations come from sommelier Michal B&iacute;lek.

Where to experience Contemporary Art 2023 in Prague

The <a href="https://www.kunsthallepraha.org/en">Kunsthalle Praha</a> residese in a sensationally renovated building which is very close to the Old Town. Although it's just opened in October 2022 it's already being dubbed the new museum for contemporary art alongside the National Gallery Prague.
The Pudil Family Foundation is the NGO behind Kunsthalle Praha and aims to connect Czech and international art scenes. Currently, there is a very touching (but small) exhibition of Czech artist Mark&eacute;ta Magidov&aacute;. Other floors are currently being prepared for exhibitions.
A caf&eacute; (for museum visitors on the upper floor) and a bistro in the entrance area round off the (art) experience. Not to be missed: the museum shop in the ticket hall. Special attention is also paid to art education with children.

<a href="https://anezkapraha.cz/en">Anežka</a> (the Czech translation of the first name Agnes) opened in a monastery complex in 2022. Just a few metres from the Vltava River, it houses a branch of the National Gallery Prague, which is also immediately noticeable in the design of the caf&eacute;. Anežka is off the beaten track with its own creations on the menu.
In addition to "Hot Apple" (hot apple juice for cold days), you can also sip the currently particularly trendy Bone Broth right at brunch. Another tip: butter granola made from fermented flakes with yoghurt, pear compote, blackcurrants and confit walnuts.

Where to sip your cocktails in Prague in 2023

The brand-new Almanac x Prague Hotel in the centre of Prague is not quite open yet, but you can already try out the <a href="https://www.almanachotels.com/praguex/food-drinks/alcron-bar">Alcron Bar</a> in a side wing of the lobby, which until a few weeks ago was still operating under the name BE POP and is currently causing confusion on Tripadvisor. The Alcron Bar is connected by name to the hotel that was run at the same address before the Almanac x Prague.
The bartenders keep a low profile, but are happy to recommend what suits the taste. The cocktails come in all sorts of variations, for example, they are served in an espresso maker with dry ice or in a "DIY principle" in a small bag. The interior is reminiscent of the Art Deco tradition that still characterises Prague's architecture today. The fact that the Alcron Bar is open every day of the week from 7 a.m. is convenient for those who need a stylish nightcap after a visit to the club.
