Above the bar in the hotel lobby is a painting of an imaginary fado singer by the well-known Portuguese painter Margarita Fleming.

You almost feel like a local, because the hotel pleasantly does not look like one from the outside and the rooms can be reached quickly. Especially if you want to freshen up quickly after a long day in the city and before dinner, the central location is ideal. And did we mention that with Uber in Lisbon, any destination can be reached quickly?&nbsp;

But back to the hotel. The hotel lift takes you directly to the fourth basement floor, where you can unwind in the pleasant atmosphere of the spa. In addition, there is a warm staff that pampers you with facials or massages. The beauty products used here are from the Portuguese brand Benam&ocirc;r, which has been one of the best-known in Portugal for almost 100 years. While we are on the subject of beauty care, we must of course also mention that a small tube of the legendary Portuguese toothpaste Couto is waiting in the room for every guest. The Rooftop Bar on the 4th floor is small, fine and almost intimate. Here you can get excellent snacks, such as salads or a burger. There is also a selection of excellent cocktails. For the gin and tonic, we recommend the Portuguese version. If you want to mix a cocktail or rather a gin and tonic in your room, you will find the necessary utensils on the bar trolley in every room.

5 things you must do in Lisbon

	<li>Enjoy the streets by day and by night: The metropolis is an absolute dream with its beaches on the Atlantic coast. Colourful tile facades, so famous for Portugal, can be found here in all variations. If you stroll through the city during the day, you&#39;ve already done the best sightseeing programme. In the evening, the streets of the city centre are bustling with people - especially at weekends, when the weather is warm, the night owls go out. You can take a long stroll along the waterfront promenade to the museum district or through Lisbon&#39;s many alleyways.</li>
	<li>Get a table at the coveted <a href="https://acevicheria.pt/">A Cevicheria</a> by Francisco Martins aka Chef Kiko. Booking in advance is a must, otherwise, you may be waiting outside for a long time. Equally sought-after is the authentic Brazilian food at <a href="https://www.obotecochefkiko.pt/">O Boteco</a>, right on one of Lisbon&#39;s most famous squares: Pra&ccedil;a Lu&iacute;s de Cam&otilde;es. South American flair with a colourful interior awaits you here. Traditional dishes such as moqueca with breaded baby bananas and corn are on the menu, as is the dessert pudim de ovo.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>If you&#39;re drawn outside the city, the wonderful beaches around Lisbon are definitely the place to go. If you don&#39;t have a car, you can book an Uber (very cheap in Lisbon). On the <a href="https://lisbonlisboaportugal.com/de/costa-da-caparica-portugal-de.html">Costa da Caparica</a>, for example, you will find the small beach club Praia da Princesa with excellent food.</li>
